High Availability: Vehicle location information is transmitted from the vehicle to the Quadrant servers every five minutes by default, however, this rate can be configured to meet customer requirements. Additionally, GPS location information can be transmitted to the servers using turn-based reporting and Governing technologies.

802.11: Those customers not requiring high availability, real-time information can also utilize location based information that is uploaded to Quadrant servers whenever a vehicle comes in contact with a Quadrant wireless hotspot.
