The WT5000 Locator utilizes a GPRS modem running on GSM-based networks to communicate location and telemetry records to the Quadrant backend. The WT5000 has a sleeker profile (polymer housing) and has a limited number of telemetry connections (2 inputs and 2 outputs) it supports connections to laptops or handhelds to provide GPS information and an Internet connection.
