The new WT5800 Locator utilizes a 802.11 modem on a customer owned WiFi network
to communicate location and telemetry records to the Quadrant backend. Location
records and telemetry status changes are recorded and stored on the Locator, and
automatically sent to Quadrant when the Locator returns to an authorized WiFi network
coverage area. The WT5800 has a sleek profile polymer housing, 2 telemetry I/O ports
and one serial port.
The WT5800 supports the following features:
GPS tracking and location updates to Quadrant
Telemetry Monitoring and Reporting
Vehicle monitoring & control capabilities (while linked to 802.11b/g network)
Store and forward capability - store up to 1000 records
Improved GPS -based location accuracy (WAAS)
