The WT6000 Locator utilizes a GPRS modem running on GSM-based networks to communicate location and telemetry records to the Quadrant backend. In addition to the functionality offered with the WT5000, the WT6000 offers a number of options including 6 I/O telemetry ports, J1708 capability, internal battery support and voice.

The WT6000 supports connections to laptops or handhelds to provide GPS information and an Internet connection.
